Here is an epic series if ever there was. George R. R. Martin has surely created a masterpiece that every reader should lose themselves into. There is, so far, supposed to be 7 books in the series. That has changed twice by my count thus far. Each time with the number increasing by one. I don't even think Mr. Martin even knows if 7 will be enough.
Book One - A Game of Throne Book Two - A Clash of Kings Book Three - A Storm of Swords Book Four - A Feast for Crows Book Five - "not yet released" Book Six - "not yet released" Book Seven - "not yet released" I would like to start a forum to discuss the series if I can generate enough interest and participation here first. |

it is fantasy based on a midevil styled era. Kings and queens and knights. there are more chacters than i can remember. it is uniquely written in that the story is told from the point of view of many main characters, not just one.

I've heard good things about that series.
Is it hard to keep track of everybody? |

i was completely lost for about the first 300-400 pages of novel number one (the books are all well over 600 pages each. i think the next one to come out will be 1200). but then things began to make sense and i was able to figure out who was who and where they belonged. you are literally thrown into a meltingpot of characters very quickly and they each have a significant role in the story. i have no problem figuring out who is who and to whom they are loyal know. plus, there is a glossary of people and relations and the kingdoms with which they belong should you get lost.
