Giles doesn't get a lot of love, but I thought he was a great character myself.

As I've said before, never watched the show because of Buffy. Mostly because of Willow and Giles. And Joyce.

Weird thing is, though I love Willow, I've never liked Alyson Hannigan in anything else I've seen her in. I found little to like in any of the pie-f*#king movies, I thought her guest stint on Veronica Mars was embarrassingly over the top and not in keeping with the tone of the show, and the few times I've tried to watch that sitcom she's on now I've cringed the whole way through.

I guess it wasn't her that I disliked, but I didn't care for those movies. Give me the Breakfast Club any day. Although there was one moment in the second I really liked, when the main guy picked Willow over the sexy exchange student, and the exchange student said, "I can't believe you chose that band geek." And the guy says, "I am a band geek, I just never joined the band." That's a great line.
