Now that we know that Snape is a traitor, do you think
he's been playing for the Dark team all along?
Or perhaps he simply aligns himself with the strongest
power?

Another possibility is that the Unbreakable Vow he took
caught up with him. He promised to help Draco and finish
his task, if necessary. Maybe he had to take the vow to
retain trust of the Death Eaters, but was hoping he wouldn't have to act on it?

What do you think?

Andy

i think that snape was on the dark team all along and was trying to gain dumbledores trust ecasue he knew eventually that he would have to kill him. i dont know about snape in the next book but i know that ron hermione and harry go on a hunt for the remaining horcruxes and meet malfoy along the way somehow. but that my 2 cents.

I think he was dooping them both to be immune to both sides's fury. Since Snape made the vow he had to help and kill dumboldore, thus putting him in danger but since he is now under the strongest power and also knows harry's abilities inside out, and can read his mind, he is still safe.

Yeah, with Dumbledore gone, things are looking pretty gloomy. Do you think there's any chance he's not really
dead?

Voldemort may not be able to kill Harry directly, but
probably Death Eaters can. It's probably a matter
of pride for You-Know-Who to do it personally though, and
it could be his undoing.
