Gellar is considering taking Buffy to the movies

   Guess what my dear readers? My built in vampire-and-werewolf detector went off again� There I was, skimming through the news and BAM! So, it�s sort of� out of my hands. I just have to share this one with you.

Our friends over at Dark Horizons tells us that the lovely Sarah Michelle Gellar is in talks to reprise her role as Buffy 1-7 dvd box set  Summers in a film sequel to the hit series � Buffy the Vampire Slayer ,� which wrapped up a successful seven season run back in 2003. The idea for the script has the story picking up with an older Buffy, who might even be a mother. While Gellar is currently busy with other projects, she is excited about the idea.

Kristy Swanson starred in the initial comedic film incarnation of �Buffy 1-7 dvd� back in 1992. That film bared little relation to the darkly humored, mythology-heavy and emotional series that followed in 1997.

The franchise still has a large fan-base and in-built audience, the main questions are the timing and how many of the cast members like Alyson Hannigan, Nicholas Brendon, Anthony Head, Seth Green and Eliza Dushku would be available.
