OK Lads both me and my neighbor both have the same problem with 78 Honda express models. Blowing bulbs. Headlight and tail. From what I can see there isn't a regulator in the system and the voltage increases with rpms. Well both of these units are reading 9 plus volts at idle of approx 1800-2000 rpms. Is there any way to control the output like installing a reg before the headlight switch? Most of the regs I have seen are for Dc so I assume it would have to be after the bat and before the light. I have seen a simple 1 or 2 wire one on EBay but dont know if it will work. Any help here greatly appreciated.
