Hi..

I fully understand how you feel when you are having "sleep paralyzed". I had this experience a few times. Its as though you are half awake yet you couldn't move your body. You will feel that everything around you begins to slow down and that fear for knowing something is there yet you are unable to move strikes you.

Some people describe this experience as out of body experience. Such people believe that as we sleep, our souls will leave our body for that period of time. Thus, they claimed that during "sleep paralyzed", our souls have left our body and that is the reason why we are feeling fear unable to move.

This leads to another point. Have you ever felt as though you are at the top of a tall building and all of the sudden, you will fall off the building? At the very moment before your body touch the ground, you will suddenly wake up. Or have you dreamt before you are walking on the street, and suddenly you tripped over a banana skin or a puddle of water and suddenly, you wake up in fear too? I'm sure you had similar dreams.

Lets go back to the main point : "sleep paralyzed".
Doctors have an explaination for this "supernatural effect". They explained that these such experiences are due TOTALLY to stress. Believe it or not...
