Yes, Faith shows up in Season 3, to replace Kendra, who was killed by Drusilla at the end of Season 2. And she doesn't exactly turn evil, she just goes down a very dark path for some time. Events conspire to make her already pretty crappy life even more depressing, and she just sort of gives in to the easier thing-being bad vs. doing the right thing. Plus she's really good at being "the bad slayer". lol She has a really good story line that crosses over to "Angel" several times. If you haven't seen Angel yet, make sure you get it. It started running alongside Buffy at the start of Season 4.

i saw one episode of angel. i really liked it, but i haven't had a chance to go down to my sisters and watch it. buffy is defenitally more experienced than faith, but faith is cooler. she's more easy going.
