Mage: the Slayer Chronicles

Man is walking down the Streets of Cleveland, he is just thinking of things he had to do today and such.

Man: Gosh, I can’t believe my wife always wants me to do this and that, never wanting to know how I feel….

Then the man hears cans hitting the ground, maybe even trash falling over.

Man: Who’s there? Come out of there and face me…

Then a cat leaps out at him, of course her lets out a very girly scream. The man laughs a bit then straightens his tie and starts walking.

Man: I have to remember what my doctor told me, I am alone…no one is following me…. it’s all in my head… its all in my…

Shadowy man: (interrupts) Yup, you are all alone. Know one to help you…No one to hear you scream.

Man: what the hell are you…(shadowy man steps forward) AGH!

Vampire 1: Well, maybe you are not completely alone.

A couple of vampires come out with chains and weapons of all sorts.

Man: SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!

Vampire 2: (mocking) Somebody help me… Yeah right. Ugh…

Then the vampire turns to dust. And a female figure covered in shadow is there with a visible stack in her hand.

Vampire 3: Is that… the Slayer?

The female figure throws the stack at the Vampire’s chest while running to another. The Vampire is dusted while the other is staring at the female’s eyes.

Vampire 4: Her, Eyes!!! Here Eyes She must be the Slayer.

Female: No, I’m her sister.

Dawn: Hey Guy, go ahead and run home, Okay?

Man: What the heck are you? (While getting up and running) AHHHH!

Dawn: you’d think he would say thank you or something.

She starts to walk out putting here stack in here side pack. She goes through a couple of alleys before she hits an actual street with people walking down them. She sees all the people walking with no cares in the world, with here shoulders having to carry the burden of the world.

Dawn: Mr. Gi…

Giles: (interrupts) Dawn!

Dawn: (Screams) Don’t do that! You’re almost as bad as Spike.

Giles: Spike… Anyways, how was the “stake out”.

Dawn: It was good… Oh I get it stake out. That’s a good one (laughs).

Giles: Yes, well I can make a joke or two you know.

Dawn: Yeah, I know you’ve made this easy since Buffy went to Europe.

Giles: Well, you are a good replacement. You may not have the powers of a Slayer but you do have supernatural powers that you can tap into.

Dawn: You keep telling me that, I don’t know if it’s true.

Giles: Just believe in yourself… Buffy had that problem. If you can over come it you can overcome almost everything.

Dawn: I have gone through two end of the worlds.

Giles: Well, lets get a move on. The night is still young and this is the time for the…

Giles stands in front of an unseen building.

Giles: the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Yeah!!!

Dawn: Are you okay?

Giles: I mean there might be Vampires around here. (Turns around and smiles)

Dawn: okay.

Giles: I’ll check inside.

Dawn: Okay, I’ll check the perimeter.

Giles: Right.

Dawn walks around with a stake in her hand taping it on her other hand. Then she sees a vampire coming out of the ground.

Dawn: What? Do they just bury people anywhere they feel like it now?

Vampire: Hello, little girl. Do you want to have a bit to eat?

Dawn: LITTLE GIRL?!?! Now you just got me p**sed.

Dawn jumps and kicks the vampire in the face and is about to kick him with the other foot till the Vampire grabs her other foot and flings her over his head to a tree. She falls to the ground and grabs her side.

Dawn: Damn, that really hurt. (Looks up)

Vampire jumps right on top of her

Vampire: I think I am going to have a lot more fun eating you now.

Giles then appears and hits the vampire off of Dawn. Dawn gets up and kicks the Vampire to the ground.

Dawn: Well, I guess I have to take a rain check on that one. (Dusts the Vamp)

Giles: You must be more careful!

Dawn: I am sorry; I was caught off by his strength.

Giles: Sometimes I wonder if I should even teach you anything.

Dawn: No, don’t start that again. You started this in the first place.

Giles: Well, actually your sister told me to.

Dawn: Come on Mr. Giles… Pleassssse.

Giles: Very well.

Dawn: Yay, this is going to be so cool. I promise to be on alert.

Then they both notice something coming out of the ground.

Dawn: I guess there is just no rest for the Slayer… sister…person…thing…whatever.

Giles: Get ready to attack.

Dawn: All right.

Arms begin to come out and then it begins to pull itself out. Giles and Dawn ready a stack and a cross in each hand. The vamp then takes its head out.

Giles: NOW!

(The boy takes a gasp of air)

Dawn: WAIT!

Giles: (stops) what?

Dawn: I though Vamps don’t breath

Giles: (looks at the fully out and fully naked boy)

Dawn: (blushes) Umm, get this boy some cloths…please.

Giles: Right (wraps a jacket over the boy) lets take him to the house.

Giles opens the door to his house and puts the 18yr old boy and places him on top of a table.

Dawn: Not on the table I just cleaned it… Great I have a dirty naked guy on the table. This is not a great experience for me.

Giles: Well, it… I mean he seems fine. Maybe exhausted from digging himself out. Which is a remarkable feet on its own.

Dawn: What do you mean?

Giles: Well it takes remarkable strength to do such an act. The thing is that his fingernails aren’t damaged. Almost as if the earth coughed him out. Interesting…
