Hello all,
I finally got my motorcycle (Very big moped) after that LONG 4 days of waiting. I can't post any pics now because there all like 500 or 600 Kb (the limit is 35kb). But I should be able to tomorrow. Some pepole asked me if they should get one, But I don't recomend it if you are shorter than about 5Ft 6in tall, and a big person. This Bike will SMOKE any other moped out there, it hit around 47Mph (75Kph) in 5 seconds, at half throttle in 3rd gear (has 4-speed manual). My dad tried it and he said after the engine is broken in, it should hit 65Mph tops (at least 60), not bad for a 50cc 4 cycle engine. This has got to be the most powerfull (and biggest) moped on the market. It measures 76" from tire to tire (80" fender to fender) by 1ft 4In wide. It is a nice dark metallic blue color. It has a very nice feel to it, and a very smooth ride (shifting is a little rough though, but not bad) I've never owned a manual bike, and I must say, this one is impressive. It has a rocker shifter, it shifts: N,1,2,3,4 you can shift from gear 4 right to N but it is not recomended. it has a hand operated clutch, that is a nice feature to. It can hold 4 12 packs of soda (it has 2 cargo racks). It also has a second seat and 2 extra pegs for a passenger. This is NOT like a targa or a supersport, it has at least 2x the takeoff (somewhat frightening at first), you have to hold on good when shifting, cause you will fall right off the back if your not carefull and shift too fast (no, this didn't happen to me, but it's that fast) It's got power like my friends 100cc dirtbike (and a bigger chain to). THIS IS NOT FOR KIDS!!! It's not even recomended for a kid my age (15), but I got one cause of the featues, and the fact that I could licence it as a moped. This is a real motorcycle, it is allmost as big as my dad's 650cc, it just has a smaller engine. I will post more tomorrow when I can ride it more. |

I have a 1994 Honda Elite S (50cc) and it pulls 60 mph in 5 to 6 seconds.

Cool, but the eliet is a scooter, this is a moped (scooters are normally bigger and faster than mopeds). I just got to really ride it today (It was to late to go anywhere last night, when I got it), and I got it up to 67Mph in about 6 seconds (pined the speedomiter). I still have to break in the engine. This thing is FAST! |

What counts is that I did get it registered as a MOPED, Right? I totally agree that it's not a MOPED, it's a full featured motorcycle (only it has a kick start instead of electric). I'm not putting scooters down or anything, but to ride one, you have to be at least 17 (in N.J.); I'm 15, and needed a new MOPED, so I got the fastest, most powerfull (,cheapest) one that I could licence as a MOPED.
It was said to only be able to go 45Mph, but I got it going 65 easy. |
