If God has a sense of humor, the Giants will win the Superbowl. As a Jets fan, I will root the GMen home with rings on their fingers!

According to Koontz, God does have a sense of humor. We know he is never wrong.

All the sports writers are depressed today. Not only do they all think that Brett Farve and the Packers would have made a better more dramatic sports story leading up to the Super Bowl, but nearly each and every single one of them throughout the country spent the entire pre-season and first three quarters of the regular season talking about how Eli will never be as good as his brother, that he will never live up to his first pick overall status, and that Tom Coughlin is the wrong guy for the wrong job on the wrong team.

Well...

Screw all of them!

Eli, Tom, Strahan, Paxico and the rest of my G-Men have marched their way down field after an 0-2 start in which they gave up a combined 80+ points in the first two game, and are going to the Super Bowl as the last great hope to take down the cheating Patriots.

In the name of all that is holy, and all that is good about football, humanity, and ice cold beer on Sundays, the Giants must beat the Patriots, and become World Champions, rulers of Jupiter, and Masters of the Entire Universe.

Eli is no longer just Peyton's younger, less-talented brother. He is truly a Giant among NFL quarterbacks, and he has proven it.

And as a side note, after that 0-2 start to the season, I was not exactly thinking they were going to do this either, but neither did I start shouting down any notion that they could. Turht be told, after the Mets did, well, what they did to me in the fall, and things were starting the way they were for the Giants, I figured a long fall was about to turn into an even longer winter for my sports world. But now. How sweet this truly is.

And I just figured out that I don't have to work on Super Bowl Sunday.
