So now Santas will not be allowed to say Ho Ho Ho any more because it's oofensive to women. And they have to get thinner to give the right message to the kids.

I guess it wasn't enough that people can't even say Merry Christmas in a public place anymore. Now they are after Santa. Why not just replace Christmas with Political Correctness Day and be done with it???

I could rant some more, but I'm too disgusted right now.

When I saw that earlier today I was shocked! And in Australia nontheless!

I was shocked last Christmas when a few cities had to take down their Christmas trees because various (Jewish and Muslim) religious groups complained. I can see someone opposing Nativity scenes in public spaces but a Christmas tree?? I certainly wouldn't consider that a Christian symbol!

I know here in Canada they switched over to "Happy Holidays" a couple years ago.

A couple more years and it will all be changed to "We Heart Satan" then the world will end and it'll all be done with.

this has been on the radio all day long. my sons school will not let them wear the colors red and green this time of year, put up christmas decorations, say merry christmas, or have the likeness of santa claus in the school
yet they recognize and celebrate all of the jewish holidays, and kwanza, and are allowed to decorate the school in those types of things.
it's time for a revolution!
as far as i'm concerned, santa is a fat, jolly, old elf who says ho ho ho. and on this web site, we celebrate and recognize christmas just like any other holiday. merry christmas everyone. say it loud and proud.

yep. they are not allowed to do anything that promotes christmas in any way.
i dress up as santa and go pick my kids up from school every chance i get. the school has sent me letters asking me, or rather telling me, not to wear certain costumes to the school at halloween time. like last year, they found out i planned to dress up as a catholic priest for the halloween party. so i went anyway. it's a time of the year to be something your not.
i say challenge the rules and stand up for what we believe in. say merry christmas, and yell ho ho ho as loud as you can. it's gonna be another thing that the government will try to take away from you soon. first it was cigarettes, now santa. whats next?

Fatty foods, SUVs, gas burning stoves or any other non-fuel efficient appliance.

There will be a carbon tax soon. Al Gore said so. And Al Gore, who's carbon footprint is big enough to flatten my house, won't stop there. These people will tax us all into oblivion and continue taking away everything that they consider unfit for us. A pox on them all.

My husband and I alway make a point of saying Merry Christmas when we go shopping, and they just say Happy Holidays back. We are Jewish, but Christmas celebrations don't offend us. Suppression of religion does.

I just try to offend as many people as I can because it is fun.

This PC stuff is crazy. Some of the stores in Vegas refer to Christmas Trees as "Holiday Trees" now.   Apparently to avoid offending the non-Christians who buy these trees (?!)

Here is a very interesting little article by Brent Bozell on a new movie called http://news.yahoo.com/s/uc/20071109/cm_uc_crbbox/op_234335 - The Golden Compass (aka "The Christmas-Crushing Movie), that is intended by the Secular Supremacist elite to undercut the morility in last year's THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA by steering children toward atheism, and depicting the Catholic Church as an evil organization. The movie stars Nicole Kidman and that guy who plays the new James Bond.

Good article by a very intelligent man, whom you can find at the Media Research Center, which I link to in my signature.

Thanks WW. I was sort of tempted by that movie, but no more.

Back on topic- 88% of Republicans and 57% of Democrats want the stores to go back to saying Merry Christmas. There's hope yet.
