   Do not try to speak continuously. Instead make an little pause between each word. This way you will save time, because you will not have to edit the text later.
For example I just dictated this and everything was correct despite my accent :-)

On the other hand, Google Voice appears to understand continuous speech better. So, even if you prefer iPhone, I recommend you install Google search app and use their voice search.
