I am glad there are similar opinions as mine for this book.

As for the sex scenes....umm, I don't know. I could do without some of the detail. As I have posted before, VISIONS is almost to the point of being a pornographic novel. Extreme detail that doesn't need to be dragged out through an entire chapter. I won't quote what he says, but it was enough to get me blushing and I got real uncomfortable with the whole thing. It put a cheap cheesy spin on the characters and the story.

I haven't found a better DK than WATCHERS. The combination of characters, including the dog, the struggles, the triumphs, the comedic aspect which is present during the entire book. Not funny haha, but funny feel good.
The other night I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out.

I've read all the Koontz books except some of the old out of print stuff and there is nothing better than Watchers!!

I've seen a couple of Watchers adaptions, and they were both horrible.

Servants of Twilight was a cheap adaption badly acted, but I've seen worse.

If you ever have ocassion to watch the TV adaption of Face of Fear, see it. It's one of my favorites.

I've never seen one of Koontz's movies FirTree but I've heard they're not very good from several members and that Koontz himself is very disappointed with what filmmakers did to his books.

I think I might have heard something positive about a made for TV movie about Intensity. I haven't read that book yet.
I'm inclined to believe in parallel worlds filled with dark bound Snow and Odd adventures.
